Covid-19 Closure Notice:

In response to increasing concerns relating to the spread of COVID-19 (or Coronavirus), and in order to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and users we have taken the decision to CLOSE the CENTRE until further notice.

If you have a general enquiry please email: hampsteadcommunitycentre@btconnect.com or use the contact page.

The community market food stalls will remain open.

Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum

Hampstead has responded to the pandemic with huge generosity. Street associations have organised to support vulnerable neighbours, and the Hampstead Volunteer Corps is organising support from individuals.

Government planners are preparing to ask community groups to deliver food parcels. We urgently need support groups to identify themselves.

If you are in a support group, please register it with Voluntary Action Camden: complete their short online form. (One per group is enough.)

Help will be essential in the months ahead:

    • delivering food

    • phoning those living alone

    • sewing face masks for NHS staff

    • temporary accommodation for NHS staff

Help is best organised among people who know each other. If you can help

    • and there is a support group in your street or nearby, please join it;

    • if there is no group near you, please register with Hampstead Volunteer Corps.

The Government has launched a new NHS Volunteer Responders scheme looking for 250,000 helpers to help the fight the coronavirus pandemic.
